The 4th Dubai International Advertising Festival, the leading festival and awards for creative advertising and communications in the Middle East and Africa, is now open for delegate registrations.
The 2011 event, which will be held for the first time at the Arabian coast resort the Madinat Jumeirah in Dubai offers an annual platform for learning, inspiration, networking and celebration. Over two and a half days, from 27 to 29 March, attendees will be able to enjoy a welcome session, attend 18 insightful and inspirational seminars, join in four up-close-and-personal workshops, view the best creative work that the region has produced in the last year at the various exhibitions, interactive kiosks and screenings, as well as partake in unique networking opportunities. The cost for the full delegate pass is US$450, but registrations made before 28 February 2011 can enjoy an Early Bird discounted rate of US$350.
Additionally there are reduced registration packages for Young Lynx, young creatives under the age of 28, and for students up to 23 years of age enrolled in full-time education. Tables can also now be reserved for the renowned Lynx Awards and Dinner, the culmination of the festival, to be held at the Madinat Jumeirah Arena on 30 March, the largest event of its kind in Dubai. “Attending the Dubai International Advertising Festival is an exceptional opportunity for people in the business to hear first-hand from global leaders about the industry’s latest trends and changes as well as being inspired and meet peers from the region and beyond,” says Philip Thomas, CEO of Cannes Lions who with Motivate Publishing are joint organisers of the Festival. “Maintaining the low price level allows the event to be accessible to everyone at all levels, assisting the continued development of creative advertising and communications.”
